 Ми живемо у маленькому місті на півночі України, що наче острівець розташувалося в глибині соснових лісів.

We live in a small town in the north of Ukraine, which is like an island in the depths of pine forests.

Славутич є наймолодшим містом України, оскільки був спроектований в листопаді-грудні 1986 року, а перше заселення квартир відбулося в 1987 році. Хоч Славутич і вважається містом Київської області, проте фактично він знаходиться на території Чернігівської області, будучи, таким чином, анклавом на території Чернігівщини. 

 Славутич – місто з непересічною історією, оскільки причиною  його появи стала одна з найбільших катастроф ХХ століття – аварія на Чорнобильській АЕС.

Slavutych is the youngest city in Ukraine, as it was designed in November-December 1986, and the first residents settled here in 1987. Although Slavutych is considered a city of Kyiv region, it is actually located on the territory of Chernihiv region, thus being an enclave on the territory of Chernihiv region.

 Slavutych is a town with a unique history, as the reason for its appearance was one of the biggest disasters of the 20th century - the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

Наше маленьке зелене місто має свій унікальний архітектурний ансамбль, до створення якого долучились Латвія, Литва, Естонія, Вірменія, Грузія, Азербайджан та Україна. Прогулюючись містом, ви ніби поринаєте у різні куточку світу, адже кожна країна збудувала свій квартал в характерних лише для неї традиціях.

Our small green town has its own unique architectural ensemble, which was created by Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Walking through the city, you seem to be immersed in different corners of the world, because each country has built its block of buildings in its most traditional way. 

Тут можна вдихнути свіже повітря на повні груди і переконатися на власні очі, що є місто без маршруток, трамваїв, метро і це комфортно. Славутич – це місто посеред лісу і ліс посеред міста.

Here you can breathe fresh air and see that there is a town without minibuses, trams, and the subway, and it's comfortable. Slavutych is a town in the middle of a forest and a forest is in the middle of a city.

Сосни, каштани, клени, ялини, верба… Рослинність тут перевищує норму зелених насаджень аж в 4 рази! Саме у Славутичі вранці на балконі чутно спів птахів. А вечірній Славутич подарує зоряне небо, якого не видно у великих містах. Це місто не тисне наміром поверхів і дає дихати простором.

Pines, chestnuts, maples, spruces, willows... Vegetation here exceeds the norm of green areas by as much as 4 times! In Slavutych you can hear birds singing on your balcony in the morning and the evening Slavutych will present a starry sky that cannot be seen in big cities. This town does not oppress with the intention of floors and allows space to breathe.

До речі! Славутич - єдине місто в Україні де усі, крім одного, натурні пам’ятники — голі, оскільки за екологічною концепцією міста скульптура мала не тільки вписуватись, а й поєднуватись з навколишнім світом.

By the way! Slavutych is the only town in Ukraine where all, except for one, natural monuments are naked, because according to the ecological concept of the town, the sculpture had to not only fit in, but also combine with the surrounding world.

Кожного року у місті відбуваються знакові для України події. Восени тут проходить Міжнародний фестиваль дитячої демократії, телебачення, преси та творчості «Золота осінь Славутича». Новий фестиваль GoldenFest вперше зібрав активних громадян поважного віку у 2019 році, у цьому ж році Славутич вперше відкрив арт-резиденцію для митців та став Світовою столицею семантичного сюрреалізму. У 2021 році Славутич переміг у проекті від Українського Культурного Фонду та став «Малою культурною столицею України 2021». 

Every year different significant for Ukraine events take place in our town. In autumn, the International Festival of Children's Democracy, Television, Press and Creativity "Golden Autumn of Slavutych" takes place here. The new GoldenFest festival first gathered active senior citizens in 2019, in the same year Slavutych first opened an art residency for artists and became the World Capital of Semantic Surrealism. In 2021, Slavutych won the project from the Ukrainian Cultural Fund and became the "Small Cultural Capital of Ukraine 2021".
